Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fred Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Who Da (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elliott comes to the cage accompanied by TUF. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fred Elliott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Who Da!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Elliott does no damage.
Elliott misses with a double jab
letting Da counter with a right hand.
Da scores with a hook to the body. Elliott takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Da avoids a punch combination nicely.

Da drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Elliott is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Da wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elliott keeps working.

Da is trying to get an arm triangle but Elliott is defending well.
Elliott is looking to get back to his feet here but Da is keeping cool and he's managed to take Elliott's back.

Elliott has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Da is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Elliott. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Da is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Elliott is trying to shake Da off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Da won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

Fred Elliott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da is trying hard to land a takedown here. Elliott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Elliott takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Da shoots in for a takedown but Elliott shows good takedown defense.

Da darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Da missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Da throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Da is looking for a kimura but Elliott is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Da to get the leverage.
Da is trying to control. Elliott wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Da is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Elliott wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Da lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Elliott hang on?
The referee warns Elliott that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Elliott is rocked!
Elliott is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Da trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Da controlling the pace for now.
Da landing strikes from the mount and Elliott is in trouble!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Elliott's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Da wants to control the pace but Elliott is squirming around nicely.

Da is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Elliott to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Elliott shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Who Da dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Da dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Elliott throws a left and a right that both miss
and Da counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Da scores with a shot to the body.

Da scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Da trying to control the action but Elliott is working from the bottom.
The strikes coming from Da are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Elliott is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Elliott is pushing Da's head away, looking to escape. Da manages to hold on to the position though.

Da lands with a right hand.
Da lands a nice shot that snaps Elliott's head back.
Da lands a jab to Elliott's midsection.
Da uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Elliott.
Nice straight punches there by Da. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Da.
Elliott tries to bum rush Da with a series of wild strikes but Da uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Elliott misses with a combination
and Da counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Da pushes Elliott up against the cage in a clinch.
Elliott wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A short right from Da on the inside.
Da has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Elliott can't break the clinch.

Da escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Da!
A right-left combo lands from Da.
Oh Elliott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Elliott falls off balance throwing a combination
and Da cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Da fails with a takedown attempt.
Da has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Da shoots for a takedown but Elliott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Da.
Da sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Elliott is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Elliott seems to have got his legs back now.
Da in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Elliott is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Da has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Da advances nicely into full mount.

Da cracks Elliott with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Elliott squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Da punching from mount but Elliott doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Da takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Da won't let Elliott get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Who Da showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Elliott has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Da finds it's way round the side to connect with Elliott's head.

Da is looking to clinch but Elliott is avoiding it.
Elliott falls off balance throwing a combination
and Da counters with a left and a right that stings Elliott.
Elliott throws a combination that misses
and Da counters with a huge left! Elliott is in big trouble! He's backing up but Da isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Elliott from any more damage. A dominating finish by Da!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Who Da!
A very excited looking Who Da made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
