Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fred Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Vimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elliott comes into the arena with TUF blaring out of the sound system. Samuel Vimes is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vimes throws a nice looking combination but Elliott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Elliott scores with a nice strike.
Elliott swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Elliott throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vimes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vimes defending well as Elliott loads up on a big left hand.
Elliott wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Elliott looks for the body kick but Vimes saw that one coming.
Fred Elliott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elliott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vimes.
Elliott takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Elliott on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Elliott misses with a hook. Vimes ducked under it nicely.

and Vimes counters by clinching up.
Elliott can't break the clinch.
Vimes lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Elliott backwards.

Elliott wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Elliott is breathing heavily.
Vimes lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Vimes manages to break the clinch.
Vimes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Elliott takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vimes cracks Elliott with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Elliott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Elliott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vimes is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Elliott had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Elliott throws a series of punches but Vimes moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Elliott as he connects with a hook.
Vimes tests Elliott's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Elliott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vimes circles away quickly and effectively.

and Vimes counters by moving into the clinch.
Vimes pushes Elliott back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Elliott is trying to break the clinch but Vimes is controlling him.
Vimes lands a shoulder strike.
Vimes lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Elliott backwards.
Vimes gets through Elliott's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Elliott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vimes pushes Elliott back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vimes lands with a left to the head.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Vimes.
Vimes lands with a short shot to the head.
Vimes dips a shoulder and cracks Elliott with a mighty uppercut! Elliott falls back against the cage and Vimes unloads with a barrage of strikes! Elliott is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vimes screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Samuel Vimes really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hilo Nutrition (video proof) & Laundry 95 % logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
