PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rockford Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bloodstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes into the arena with CCR - Fortunate Son blaring out of the sound system. Bloodstone is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Megadeth Peace Sells. John Bloodstone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Knight misses.
Knight throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bloodstone doesn't manage to clinch there - Knight circles away.
Bloodstone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knight tries to avoid it but Bloodstone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knight to the ground. Knight escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bloodstone looks to land a body kick but Knight moved away.
Bloodstone shoots in looking for a takedown but Knight manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bloodstone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Knight takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bloodstone takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Knight misses with a two punch combination.
Bloodstone misses with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knight scores with a nice right hand.
Bloodstone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bloodstone looks gassed!
Bloodstone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rockford Knight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bloodstone.
Nice straight punches there by Knight. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Knight.

Knight sends Bloodstone crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Knight is motioning to the referee to let Bloodstone up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like John Bloodstone has been cut.
Bloodstone backs away from a small jab...but Knight lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Bloodstone crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Knight with a spectacular finish!

After winning the bout, Rockford Knight thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
