Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafa Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Furuichi Takayuki!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayuki has his takedown stuffed
and Silva counters with a body kick that stops Takayuki in his tracks momentarily.
Takayuki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takayuki gets slowly back to his feet.
Takayuki sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Silva counters with a nice leg kick.
Rafa Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Furuichi Takayuki.

and Silva counters with a good low kick that Takayuki was not able to check.
Silva lands with a thumping leg kick.

Takayuki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
