The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cristo is trying to defend but Reis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Reis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cristo!
Cristo can't escape the position.
Cristo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Reis locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Cristo is forced to tap!
