The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LePierre lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

LePierre connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jag's hands.
LePierre fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jag on the side of the head.
LePierre scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
LePierre lands a nice hook to Jag's body. Jag takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and LePierre makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jag walks into a straight right hand from LePierre.
Jaromir Jag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and LePierre scores with a counter punch that sends Jag to the canvas! LePierre smells blood - he's punishing Jag with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jag has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
