The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Davis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Khalidov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Davis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Phil Davis.

Khalidov pushes Davis against the cage. Khalidov is working some dirty boxing. Khalidov pushes off with a quick right hook! Davis goes down! Davis tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Khalidov moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
