Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunn has chosen Diary of a Madman as his entrance music. Carlos Weiner has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Weiner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn misses with an uppercut.
Dunn throws a one two combo.

Dunn has closed the distance and engaged Weiner in a clinch.
Dunn lands an elbow that stopped Weiner in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Carlos Weiner has been cut.

Weiner is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dunn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Weiner to the mat. Weiner regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Weiner preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dunn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Weiner's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Dunn is working for a submission of some sort.
Dunn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dunn lands with a punch from half guard.
Dunn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Weiner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Weiner has hold of Dunn's hands but Dunn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Dunn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dunn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunn looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dunn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Dunn seems to be working for a kimura but Weiner defends the submission attempt.
Dunn is looking to take a break and control but Weiner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dunn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Dunn working the head and body with strikes.
Weiner on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Weiner tries to get out of the position.
Dunn drops an elbow to the side of Weiner's head.
Nice strikes from Dunn there.

Dunn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weiner is just riding it out for now. Dunn eventually gives up the hold.
Weiner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dunn works his way into side control.

Dunn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dunn in side control, throwing shots but Weiner defends.
Weiner sneaks back into half guard.
Weiner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dunn on the ground.
Dunn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dunn lands a nice short elbow.
Dunn thows a huge punch but Weiner dodges it nicely.
Still in half guard, Dunn seems content to control.

Dunn maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Weiner could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dunn has cracked it and Weiner is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dunn!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mark Dunn!
Mark Dunn looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'It was just a matter of time until I strangled Mr Weiner like he does himself. Good Night Mr Weiner and Good Night Vegas!!! '.
