Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muakbar throws a series of punches but Corncobb moves out of range.
Corncobb avoids the head kick by Muakbar.
Muakbar thows a body shot but no joy.
Corncobb throws a nice looking combination but Muakbar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Corncobb closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Corncobb moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Corncobb moves out of range of the body kick from Muakbar.
Corncobb lands an overhand right.
Muakbar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Corncobb misses with a straight left.
Corncobb throws out a loose jab but Muakbar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Corncobb throws a nice looking combination but Muakbar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Muakbar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Corncobb tries to avoid it but Muakbar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Corncobb to the ground. Corncobb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Muakbar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Corncobb is looking to improve his position but Muakbar isn't that keen on the idea.

Muakbar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee warns Corncobb that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Muakbar postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Corncobb looks a forlorn figure.

After the fight, Haji Muakbar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
