The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Sanchez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Watson.
Watson is looking to land body kicks.
Watson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Watson checks a leg kick nicely.
Sanchez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Watson back to the cage. Sanchez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Tom Watson has been cut.
Watson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A lazy left from Watson finds it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Watson moves out of range of the strikes.
Sanchez tries to score with a low kick but Watson moves his leg out of the way.
Watson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sanchez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sanchez tries a head kick but it misses.
Watson lunges at Sanchez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sanchez's hand.
Watson throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.
Sanchez misses the jab.
Watson lands with a hook. Sanchez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Watson avoids the head kick by Sanchez.
Sanchez thows a body shot but no joy.

Watson lands a big head kick that sends Sanchez tumbling to the mat! Watson takes a step backwards and waves Sanchez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Carmelo Sanchez has been cut.
Sanchez shoots in but Watson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sanchez looks to land a right hand but Watson moved out of range.
Watson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Watson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Watson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Watson finish him?
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Watson! Sanchez is out on his feet! Watson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sanchez is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sanchez is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
