Myton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Yoyo. Marciano has chosen REDEMPTION SONG as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marciano moves away.
Myton lands a jab to the head.
Marciano swings for the body but Myton moves out of range.
Marciano lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Marciano throws a right and a left that Myton avoids nicely.
Marciano moves away from the strike by Myton.
Myton throws a body punch but Marciano moves out of range.
Myton moves in looking to clinch but Marciano pushes him off.
Myton avoids the body shot from Marciano.
Myton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Cedric Myton has been cut.
Marciano looks to score with a jab to the body but Myton is just out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marciano throws a body punch but Myton moves out of range.
Marciano lands a right hook to the body.
Myton misses with a wild body shot.
Myton wants to slow Marciano down by chopping away at his legs.
Marciano fails in his attempt to clinch.
Marciano thows a body kick. Myton tries to catch it but that hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Myton throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A slapping body kick lands there for Marciano.
Myton is breathing heavily.
Marciano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marciano lands a nice shot to the body.
Myton takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marciano lands a head kick. Myton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Marciano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Myton sprawling to the canvas! Myton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marciano finish him?!

Myton is rocked!

Cedric Myton's cut is getting worse.
Marciano stuns Myton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Myton walks straight into a right hand from Marciano - that's dropped him! Marciano jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Myton from any more punishment! Myton complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Don Marciano! Don Marciano retains his heavyweight title!
