Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Nordh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigmundur Steingrimsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steingrimsson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dimmu Borgir - The Mourning Palace kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nordh lands a big head kick that sends Steingrimsson tumbling to the mat! Nordh takes a step backwards and waves Steingrimsson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anton Nordh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nordh throws a hook to the side of Steingrimsson's head but Steingrimsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nordh. Steingrimsson shrugs it off though.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nordh.

Nordh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Steingrimsson. That did some damage!
Nordh takes a swing at Steingrimsson's ribcage but misses.

Nordh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nordh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steingrimsson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sigmundur Steingrimsson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Nordh scores with a jab. Steingrimsson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Steingrimsson might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Nordh has got the better of the exchanges.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Steingrimsson in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
