And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Summers!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mageramsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Summers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Summers prevents Mageramsky from moving into mount.
The referee asks Mageramsky politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mageramsky prefers to stall for the moment though.
Summers is trying to control Mageramsky's posture but Mageramsky avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mageramsky tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Summers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Mageramsky seems to be looking for submissions.

Summers tries to roll over but Mageramsky keeps him under control.

Mageramsky manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Summers on his heels. He'll look to pass Summers's guard now, I'm sure.

Mageramsky shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Summers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mageramsky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Summers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Summers controls Mageramsky momentarily but Mageramsky frees himself.

Summers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mageramsky is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Summers.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mageramsky wants to finish this one by submission but Summers is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mageramsky.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
