Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taj al Din (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yance Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Din's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MARI-WANA. Sackett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Snoop Dogg - Vato kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taj al Din!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yance Sackett!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett throws a hook but al Din blocks it.
al Din misses with a two punch combination.
Sackett misses the body punch
and al Din counters with a nice leg kick.
Sackett takes a body punch but keeps moving.
al Din uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sackett.

Sackett looking to score a takedown here. al Din is defending well but Sackett drives through and ends up in al Din's guard.
al Din is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sackett is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Sackett is fighting to break al Din's control of his arms but al Din is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Sackett trying to control the position from guard on top but al Din is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
al Din utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sackett throws a big elbow that misses.

Sackett trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Sackett postures up in al Din's guard and throws a big left but al Din blocks it.
Sackett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
al Din trying to keep a closed guard but Sackett is proving a slippery customer.
al Din pulls Sackett in close to prevent any damage.
Sackett is looking to work some ground and pound but al Din has wrist control.
Sackett trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Sackett loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
al Din working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sackett.

al Din tries to land a sweep but no joy.

al Din isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sackett stacks al Din on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sackett!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sackett misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Sackett misses with the ground and pound.

al Din is looking for a sweep.
Sackett working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Sackett looking to punish the body of his opponent here but al Din is avoiding damage well.
Sackett connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused al Din some visible discomfort.
Sackett fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sackett throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
al Din takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sackett in side control lands a decent elbow.
Sackett is looking to take a break and control but al Din is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sackett lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear al Din down.
al Din is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
al Din is trying to get back to half guard.
Sackett postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sackett misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Sackett cracks al Din with a big right hand but al Din just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sackett in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Sackett working the ground and pound but al Din is defending the strikes.
Check out the look on Sackett's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Sackett throws an elbow but al Din slips to the side and avoids it well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sackett is working al Din over with some ground and pound from side control.

Sackett is looking to take a break and control but al Din is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yance Sackett dominated that round.

Sackett tries to clinch up but al Din circles away and keeps his distance.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sackett.
This has been an exciting period of action!
al Din shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sackett ducks under a wild hook from al Din.
Sackett has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
al Din misses with a kick to the body
and Sackett counters with a straight right hand.
Sackett moves in looking to clinch but al Din pushes him off.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Sackett and al Din goes tumbling to the canvas! Sackett follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


al Din is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sackett lands strikes from half guard.
Oh al Din is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sackett scores with a big shot! al Din's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save al Din! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yance Sackett!
Yance Sackett is the new light heavyweight champion!
As Yance Sackett got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: ~As he finishes ramming half a HUGE blunt up Al Dins ass~ I want to thank Burning Fist Apparel, Ascension, my coaches, my fans and Chris Karter (looking sheepish while toking an arm size blunt in the cage even though its still sticking out of Al Dins ass)'.
