Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Broyeur deRobinet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). deRobinet has chosen God's Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music. Jack Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Nice sprawl there from deRobinet as Johnson shoots in.
Johnson dives in and scores a takedown into deRobinet's guard.
deRobinet looking for a sweep. Not yet deRobinet, not yet.
Johnson wants to control from the top but deRobinet keeps moving.
deRobinet is looking to stand up but Johnson isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but deRobinet is retaining full guard.
deRobinet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

deRobinet tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Johnson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! deRobinet has picked Johnson up and slammed him! Johnson can't keep hold of the triangle and deRobinet manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

deRobinet moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Johnson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because deRobinet is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Johnson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, deRobinet has worked his arm free - good work by deRobinet!
deRobinet tries to improve position but can't.
Johnson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by deRobinet, who protects the arm well.

deRobinet is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back!
Johnson is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
deRobinet misses with a head kick.
deRobinet tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Johnson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Broyeur deRobinet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

deRobinet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

deRobinet is fighting off a takedown attempt but Johnson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip deRobinet to the mat. deRobinet regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

deRobinet lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson!
deRobinet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
deRobinet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but deRobinet sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
