Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Genki Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axl Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horn has chosen Bill Murray - by Sweatshop Union as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Axl Horn enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Horn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dama.
Horn misses with a looping right.
Horn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horn misses with a double jab.
Horn throws a jab but it's blocked by Dama.
Dama lands a nice looking body shot.
Horn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Horn gets caught flat footed, as Dama shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dama postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dama postures up in Horn's guard and throws a big left but Horn blocks it.

Dama has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Axl Horn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dama pinned against the cage. Dama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd cheers as Dama lands an impressive looking overhand right. Horn doesn't seem phased though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dama.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dama steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Horn.
Dama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Horn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dama circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Genki Dama will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Horn looks to score with a jab to the body but Dama is just out of range.
Horn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dama moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dama is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Horn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dama swings around for an armbar but Horn sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dama's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
