Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Legionarivs Sakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Faroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakara comes into the arena with The Rise of Sakara blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakara misses with a straight right.
Sakara keeps the fight on the outside.
Faroni wants to clinch but Sakara slips to the side
and Sakara counters with a left and a right that stings Faroni.
Faroni tries to clinch but Sakara is having none of it.
Faroni looks to clinch
and Sakara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sakara thuds his right hand into Faroni's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Legionarivs Sakara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faroni misses with a hook. Sakara ducked under it nicely.
Sakara slips under a jab from Faroni.
Sakara throws the kick towards the body but Faroni avoids it.
Sakara tries to bum rush Faroni with a series of wild strikes but Faroni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sakara attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Faroni takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sakara throws an overhand right that lands on Faroni's shoulder, as Faroni tries to avoid the shot.
Sakara misses with a leg kick.
Sakara throws a low kick, looking for Faroni's leg but Faroni calmly moves out of range.
Sakara connects with a right hand. Faroni shakes it off.
Faroni tries to clinch but Sakara moves away
and Sakara counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

A big left from Faroni misses.
Sakara fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Faroni throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sakara throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sakara wants to land a leg kick but Faroni is out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Sakara misses the target.
Sakara dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Faroni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sakara pinned against the cage. Sakara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Faroni walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Sakara looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Faroni tries to clinch there but Sakara circles away.
Sakara stuffs the takedown.

Sakara scores with a jab to the jaw.

Sakara misses with a double jab.
Faroni takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sakara throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Faroni counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sakara lands a jab to Faroni's midsection.
Faroni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sakara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Faroni somewhat.
Legionarivs Sakara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Faroni.
Faroni looks gassed!
Faroni tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sakara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Faroni misses with an uppercut
and Sakara makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Legionarivs Sakara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sakara misses with a two punch combination.
Sakara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faroni moves away.
Sakara scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Faroni tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sakara paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sakara fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Faroni checks it well.
Faroni doesn't manage to clinch there - Sakara circles away.
Faroni lands a nice shot that snaps Sakara's head back.
Faroni on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Faroni has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sakara.
Sakara throws a big shot that misses.
Faroni tries for a takedown but Sakara sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sakara drops Faroni with a beautiful combination! Faroni stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sakara is looking for the KO!
It looks like Benny Faroni has been cut.

Faroni is rocked!
Sakara lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Faroni falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sakara dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Legionarivs Sakara!
Legionarivs Sakara really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that SPARTA FIGHTWARE-GTI logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
