Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beyond Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evil has chosen Enjoy The Silence as his entrance music. Beyond Evil will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evil connects with a leg kick. Chavez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Chavez misses with a jab to the body
and Evil counters with a nice uppercut.
Chavez throws a body punch but Evil moves out of range.
Chavez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Evil stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Juan Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evil throws a body punch but Chavez moves out of range.
Chavez throws the left hand but Evil avoids the punch easily.
Evil lands with an uppercut that bounces Chavez off the cage and back into range.
Evil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Evil takes a swing at Chavez's ribcage but misses.
Chavez checks a low kick from Evil.
Evil walks into a left hand.
Chavez misses with a low kick.
Chavez throws a right and a left that both miss.

A left lands for Chavez.
Evil throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chavez on the side of the head.
Evil swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chavez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evil pinned against the cage. Evil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Evil jabs Chavez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Evil moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Chavez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evil's waist but Evil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chavez off to one side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beyond Evil is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Chavez swings for the body but Evil moves out of range.
Evil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chavez was well out of range. Poor timing from Evil.
Chavez avoids the body shot from Evil.
Evil takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Evil is rocked!
Some wild striking there from Chavez.
Evil is still on wobbly legs! Can Chavez finish him?
Nice defenses there by Evil.
Chavez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chavez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evil moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chavez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Evil can pounce on him.
Evil seems to have recovered his senses.
Chavez is breathing heavily.
Evil lands a slapping body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Evil.
Evil slips a straight right by Chavez.
Chavez throws a combination that misses
and Evil makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Chavez really felt that one!
Chavez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Evil throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Chavez throws a body kick that misses.
Evil moves out of range as Chavez strikes.
Evil misses the shot to the body.
Chavez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Evil avoids a punch combination nicely.
Evil lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chavez's sensitive parts.
Evil throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evil scores with a body shot.
Evil fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chavez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Evil throws a half hearted mid kick.
Chavez misses with a wild combination.
Evil scores with a body shot.
Nice body punch from Evil.
Chavez takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Evil throws a nice outside leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Evil, as that shot connected.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Evil lands a big head kick that sends Chavez tumbling to the mat! Evil takes a step backwards and waves Chavez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Chavez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chavez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Evil counters with a nice low kick that buckles Chavez's knee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beyond Evil dominated that round.
That's time! Chavez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Evil cracks Chavez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Evil has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chavez to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chavez lands with a cross.
Chavez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Evil lands with a good body shot.
Evil lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Evil smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Evil connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Beyond Evil seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Chavez takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Evil lands a leg kick that knocks Chavez off balance momentarily.
Chavez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Evil comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Evil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chavez.
Evil looks to score with a jab to the body but Chavez is just out of range.

Chavez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evil's waist but Evil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chavez off to one side.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chavez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Evil - the referee stops the clock and Chavez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Evil. Chavez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Chavez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chavez circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Evil. Chavez falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Evil!

After the fight, Beyond Evil was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
