The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duster takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Duster lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

McVey fails with an attempt to clinch.
McVey tries to clinch there but Duster circles away.
Duster throws an overhand right that lands on McVey's shoulder, as McVey tries to avoid the shot.

Duster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McVey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duster manages to avoid it.
Duster throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Duster darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McVey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
McVey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Duster connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McVey scrambles back to his feet.
Duster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McVey sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Knuckle Duster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

McVey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Nice uppercut lands for Duster. That snapped McVey's head back.
McVey moves away from the strike by Duster.
Duster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McVey manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Duster. McVey does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - McVey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Duster.
McVey lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

A bone on bone clash there as McVey blocks the leg kick.
McVey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duster paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McVey slips a straight right by Duster.
Duster connects with a looping right hand.

McVey is rocked!
Duster lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens McVey up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Duster from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw McVey's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Knuckle Duster!
A very excited looking Knuckle Duster made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
