And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pawel Ufcowski jr!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klerk moves out of range of the body kick from Ufcowski jr.
Pawel Ufcowski jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ufcowski jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ufcowski jr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Klerk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ufcowski jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ufcowski jr is looking to regain half guard here but Klerk keeps moving and retains side control.

Klerk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ufcowski jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Klerk.

Klerk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ufcowski jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Klerk is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ufcowski jr has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ufcowski jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Klerk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Klerk's back!

Klerk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Klerk is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
