The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutz slips a jab from Kane.
Gutz moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kane takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kane missing with a left hand there. Gutz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Kane darts in and clinches Gutz up against the cage.

Gutz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kane wants to clinch up but Gutz keeps it at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Gutz.
Gutz connects with a solid leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kane misses with an uppercut
and Gutz counters with an outside leg kick.
Kane looks gassed!
Gutz lands a front kick.
Gutz connects with a leg kick. Kane looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gutz - that will leave a mark!
Gutz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kanes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Gutz keeps Kane at a distance using the push kick.
Gutz scores with a push kick.
Gutz connects with a solid leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gutz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kan Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gutz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gutz duly obliges.

Kane is rocked!
Kane takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Gutz finish him?

Kane stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gutz.
Gutz darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Kane's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Gutz before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
