The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
York swings for the body but Ford moves out of range.
Ford swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
York circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ford misses with a straight left.
A slow jab from York misses its intended target.
Ford misses the shot to the body.
York throws a head kick but Ford moves out of range.
Ford tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
York misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ford.
Ford thows a body shot but no joy.
A big right from York misses.

Ford uses good head movement to avoid the hook from York.
York with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ford swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and York counters with a nice body shot.

York fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ford takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Jacob Ford has been cut.
York rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ford moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

York keeps the fight on the outside.
York ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ford is breathing heavily.
York lands a jab to Ford's midsection.
Nigel York seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
York cracks Ford with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

York feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ford sprawling to the canvas! Ford rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can York finish him?!

Ford is rocked!

York lands a big right hand that sends Ford crashing to the mat! York stays standing though and waves Ford back to his feet!
Oh Ford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ford takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ford leaves his chin hanging out and York seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ford crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
