Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spart Acus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Omaly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Omaly has chosen Outside - To Forgive but not Forget as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omaly lands with a nice combination. Acus backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Spart Acus has been cut.

Omaly has control of Acus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Acus regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Acus is looking to improve his position but Omaly isn't that keen on the idea.

Mark Omaly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Acus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Acus is defended easily by Omaly.

Omaly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Omaly wants it to stay on the feet.
Omaly connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Acus momentarily.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Omaly and Acus goes tumbling to the canvas! Omaly follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Spart Acus's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Omaly looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Omaly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Omaly lands with a punch from half guard.
Omaly works his foot free and advances to mount.

Acus is trying to escape the mount.
Omaly tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Omaly prevents Acus from getting the reversal.
Acus slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Acus wants to control but Omaly is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Omaly. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Omaly is looking to take a break and control but Acus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Spart Acus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

and Omaly counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Acus shoots in for a takedown but Omaly shows good takedown defense.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Omaly lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Omaly.
Omaly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Jeez, Spart Acus's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Omaly stuns Acus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Acus walks straight into a right hand from Omaly - that's dropped him! Omaly jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Acus from any more punishment! Acus complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
