Faustos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heartbeats kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Luis Alberto Perez has the better chin. The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Faustos, pushing him back against the cage.
Perez looking to throw knees to the head but Faustos is blocking nicely.
Faustos blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Faustos throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Perezs head.
Faustos lands with a right to the head.
Faustos with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Faustos stalls.
Faustos avoids the elbow strike from Perez, against the cage.

Faustos digs a right hand into Perez's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Perez's gas tank.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Faustos creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Perez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Perez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Faustos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Perez.
Faustos goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Faustos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Faustos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Perez is breathing heavily.
Faustos misses with a series of wild punches.
Luis Alberto Perez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Faustos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Faustos works Perez's body with a nice hook.
A left lands for Faustos.
Faustos connects with a single shot there.
Perez is rocked!
Faustos finds Perez's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Perez flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Faustos lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Perez will be OK.
