Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karl Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Spatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grossman's entrance music is The Devil's Rejects. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Spatz.

Grossman has closed the distance and engaged Spatz in a clinch.
Grossman fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Grossman prevents Spatz from breaking the clinch.
Grossman can't find room to land a body shot as Spatz controls the action.
Spatz tries to circle away but Grossman has him pinned against the cage.

Grossman lands with an uppercut that bounces Spatz off the cage and back into range.
Grossman looks to score with a jab to the body but Spatz is just out of range.

Grossman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Spatz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Spatz is still on wobbly legs! Can Grossman finish him?
A looping hook to the body misses from Spatz. Grossman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grossman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Spatz seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice leg kick lands there from Grossman.
A low kick from Spatz misses
and Grossman counters with a thumping low kick.
Spatz looks gassed!
Grossman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Spatz momentarily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Grossman.
