The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sackett connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kato momentarily.

Sackett thows a body shot but no joy.
Kato dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Sackett blocks a low kick nicely.
Sackett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kato.
Kato is looking to wear down Sackett with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sackett takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kato lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sun Kato is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sackett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kato lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sackett's sensitive parts.

Kato looks to land a combination but Sackett avoids it well.
Sackett takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kato's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sackett under the eye.
Kato scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sackett chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kato can pounce on him.
Kato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sackett.
Kato throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sackett takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sackett on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kato ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sackett moves away.

Kato drops Sackett with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sackett looks back up at him and smiles so Kato waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
