Sosa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen. Mask has chosen Roxette - Listen To Your Heart as his entrance music. Alfonso Sosa has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alfonso Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiger Mask!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mask shoots for a takedown but Sosa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sosa takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Alfonso Sosa has been cut.
Mask looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mask misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mask takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mask throws a leg kick but Sosa sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Tiger Mask seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mask takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sosa lands with a straight right. Mask didn't see that one coming.
Mask misses with an uppercut. Sosa saw that one coming.
Mask throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mask tries a head kick but it misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mask tries to clinch up but Sosa circles away and keeps his distance.
Mask defending well as Sosa loads up on a big left hand.
Mask checks the leg kick.

Sosa scores with a decent looking hook.
Sosa looks to score with a jab to the body but Mask is just out of range.
Mask on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Mask throws a hook but Sosa blocks it.
Alfonso Sosa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mask feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Mask is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Alfonso Sosa has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Mask has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sosa misses with a punch to the body.

Mask tries to work over Sosa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sosa breaks from the clinch.
Sosa throws a lazy uppercut
and Mask counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mask throws the kick towards the body but Sosa avoids it.
Mask misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mask throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sosa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mask is in Sosa's guard.
Sosa wants to stand and escape but Mask is having none of it.
Sosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mask on the ground.
Mask pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sosa is keeping the position for now.
Mask wants to control from the top but Sosa keeps moving.

Sosa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tiger Mask was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mask throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
A right-left combo lands from Mask.
Mask throws a sloppy head kick and Sosa moves out of range easily.
Mask lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tiger Mask dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alfonso Sosa's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Mask stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sosa.
Tiger Mask seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mask bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sosa's head backwards.


Sosa is rocked!
Mask looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Mask backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Sosa's temple! It sends Sosa violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Mask celebrates and the doctors try to help Sosa!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Tiger Mask!
Tiger Mask decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
