These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barros tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bouazizi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barros slips a jab from Bouazizi.
Bouazizi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barros moves away.
Bouazizi feints a jab promting Barros to slip. Bouazizi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Barros slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Leo Barros has been cut.
Bouazizi misses with a takedown attempt
and Barros counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Barros keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bouazizi shoots for a takedown but Barros saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barros looks to throw the jab but Bouazizi is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bouazizi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barros feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bouazizi's calf.

Bouazizi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barros circles away quickly and effectively.
Barros throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
