The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicken throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane.
Kane is looking to chop away at Hicken's legs.
Hicken lands with an uppercut that bounces Kane off the cage and back into range.

Hicken moves into the clinch.

Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hicken cracks Kane with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hicken throws a leg kick but Kane checks it.
Hicken gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kane.
Hicken takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kane throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hicken.

Kane fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hicken looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hicken shoots for a takedown but Kane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Keane Kane seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hicken throws a hook but Kane avoids it easily.

Kane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Hicken to counter with a crisp jab.
Kane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hicken. That did some damage!

Kane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hicken tries to work over Kane's front leg with a kick but Kane checks it.
Hicken loads up on a big right hand but Kane slips the punch.
Hicken gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kane throws an off balance right hand
and Hicken counters with a three punch combo that has Kane backing up. Kane nods at Hicken to acknowledge the strikes.

and Kane counters with a two punch combo.

and Kane counters with a crisp right that sends Hicken to the canvas! Kane follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
