Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thai comes into the arena with Town Called Malice blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai delivers a nice body kick.
Thai feints and then cracks Thompson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thompson down.
Thompson throws a jab but it's blocked by Thai.
Thompson takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Jack Thompson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thai lands a big head kick that sends Thompson tumbling to the mat! Thai takes a step backwards and waves Thompson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Muay Thai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Thompson's calf.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Thai has cracked Thompson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Thai lands another huge swinging hook and Thompson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Thompson, before Thai can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Muay Thai!
