The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vahti swings for the body but Belisle moves out of range.
Vahti takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Belisle looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Vahti misses the jab.
Vahti lands with a kick to the temple. Belisle shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Belisle counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Belisle stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vahti.

Vahti connects with a right hand. Belisle shakes it off.
A slapping body kick lands there for Vahti.
Vahti connects with a body shot.
Vahti dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Belisle. That did some damage!
Belisle is breathing heavily.

Belisle fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vahti bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belisle's head backwards.
Karri Vahti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Belisle tries to clinch up but Vahti circles away and keeps his distance.

Belisle throws a leg kick but Vahti moved away.
Vahti connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vahti lands with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Belisle shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Belisle is rocked!
Vahti thumps Belisle with a low kick.
Oh Belisle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vahti changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Belisle seems to have got his legs back now.
Vahti digs a good hook to Belisle's body.
Vahti is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Belisle rather than just go for the knockout.
Vahti misses with a low kick as Belisle jumps back.
Vahti scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Vahti lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Vahti lands a left and a right that send Belisle crashing to the mat, dazed. Vahti thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vahti cracks Belisle with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Belisle falls to his knees and Vahti doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Karri Vahti thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
