Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Duddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Wagner!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy jabs Wagner to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wagner tries to clinch up but Duddy circles away and keeps his distance.
Duddy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wagner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Duddy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wagner's head.

Duddy has Wagner up against the cage in a clinch.
A short body shot lands from Duddy as the two fighters clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Duddy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Duddy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wagner.
Wagner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Duddy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Duddy closes the distance and pushes Wagner back into the cage.

Duddy cracks a nice hook into Wagner's ribs.

Duddy feints and then cracks Wagner's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wagner down.

Duddy tries to work over Wagner's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Duddy is trying to maintain a safe position but Wagner gets an underhook and turns Duddy into the cage.

Duddy is pushing Wagner up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Wagner is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Duddy can't fight it off and eventually Wagner manages to take the fight to the floor. Duddy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wagner wants to control from the top but Duddy keeps moving.
Wagner tries to free his leg and advance position but Duddy is retaining full guard.
Wagner is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Wagner throws an elbow that misses. Duddy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wagner's guard. Nice move by Duddy!

Wagner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wagner has his foot on Duddy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duddy works his way back into a safe position though.

Wagner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duddy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Duddy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Duddy tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wagner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Duddy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Duddy tries to bum rush Wagner with a series of wild strikes but Wagner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wagner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Duddy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wagner is in Duddy's guard.

Duddy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wagner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duddy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Duddy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wagner!
Duddy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Duddy wants to control the pace but Wagner is squirming around nicely.

Duddy has control of Wagner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wagner regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tyson Wagner has got the better of the ground game so far.

Duddy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Wagner is trying desperately to improve position.
Wagner sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Duddy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wagner keeps working.
Duddy works his foot free and advances to mount.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nice straight punches there by Duddy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Duddy.
Wagner takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wagner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duddy.
Duddy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wagner moves away.
John Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duddy plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Wagner swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Wagner face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
