Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ricky Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adamh Pearse!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Ross.


It looks like Adamh Pearse has been cut.
Ross misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pearse.
Ricky Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ross fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pearse wants to clinch up but Ross keeps it at a distance.
Pearse slips a jab from Ross.
Ross misses with a wild combination.
Ross tries to bum rush Pearse with a series of wild strikes but Pearse uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pearse slips a jab and a cross from Ross.
Pearse throws a hook but Ross avoids it easily.
Ross misses the body punch
and Pearse counters with an inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ross misses with a hook. Pearse ducked under it nicely.
Ross loads up on a big right hand but Pearse slips the punch.
Pearse wants to clinch up but Ross keeps it at a distance.
Ross misses with a right hand

and Pearse holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Ross scores with a nice short uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pearse keeps control of Ross as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pearse blocks an uppercut.
Pearse lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ross backwards.
Pearse lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ross backwards.
Ross blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Pearse fails to land.
Ross misses with some punches.
Ross misses with some punches.

Ross pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ross clinches up with Pearse and pushes him back against the cage.
Pearse tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A left hand lands to the body for Pearse.
Pearse lands with a light punch inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pearse working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ross blocks a body shot from Pearse.
Pearse gets through Ross's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ross misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ross misses with the head strike.
Pearse tries to stall but Ross uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Ross scores with a nice short uppercut.
Pearse lands a left hand.
Pearse lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ross or not.
Ross is breathing heavily.
Pearse lands a left hand.


Ross is rocked!
Pearse gets through Ross's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Ross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pearse pushes Ross against the cage. Pearse is working some dirty boxing. Pearse pushes off with a quick right hook! Ross goes down! Ross tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pearse moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adamh Pearse!
Adamh Pearse really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that O'Brannigan's Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
