Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heimo Hulahula!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kane Yamada!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada throws a shot to the body.
Hulahula misses with a straight right.
Hulahula changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Yamada throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Yamada scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hulahula feints and then cracks Yamada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yamada down.
Hulahula walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Yamada keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yamada uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hulahula has time to react.

Hulahula looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hulahula accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hulahula in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Yamada being controlled here, momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hulahula trying to control the position from guard on top but Yamada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hulahulais looking to pass into half guard but Yamada pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Yamada is in guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hulahula holds on and takes a little breather.
Yamada must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Yamada tries to free his leg and advance position but Hulahula is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hulahula has a closed guard, preventing Yamada from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Heimo Hulahula.
Yamada stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yamada throws a front kick that sends Hulahula stumbling back into the cage.
Hulahula looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamada is just out of range.
Hulahula shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
No joy there for Hulahula, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yamada connects with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yamada with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hulahula is breathing heavily.
Hulahula cracks a nice hook into Yamada's ribs.
Hulahula misses with a body shot.
Yamada fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Yamada.
Yamada is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Yamada tries to clinch up.
Yamada fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hulahula.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hulahula moves out of range of the body kick.
Nice straight punches there by Yamada. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Yamada.


Hulahula is rocked!
and Yamada counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hulahula! He's just covering up as Yamada starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kane Yamada! Kane Yamada retains his welterweight title!
A very excited looking Kane Yamada rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
