Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slopey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Zalcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hank Williams Jr - A Country Boy Can Survive. Zalcock has chosen El Metro as his entrance music. Hugo Zalcock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalcock doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Smith counters with a good, hard body kick but Zalcock shrugs it off.
Smith cracks Zalcock with a good jab.
Zalcock shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith thows a body kick. Zalcock tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Zalcock looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zalcock shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slopey Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Zalcock.
Nice uppercut lands for Smith. That snapped Zalcock's head back.
Smith lands a right hook to the body.
Smith scores with a kick to the midsection.
Slopey Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zalcock gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Smith throws a big elbow that misses.

Smith stands and throws Zalcock's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Smith has an Americana. Zalcock didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After winning the bout, Slopey Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
