Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ontario Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suren Nazarethyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazarethyan has chosen Brennan Heart & Wildstylez - Lose My Mind as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Davis stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Nazarethyan to get to his feet.

Davis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Davis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nazarethyan has eaten all the pies!
Davis throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Nazarethyan because Davis loaded up on that one.
Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Davis wants to control the pace but Nazarethyan is squirming around nicely.

Davis is taking a breather. Nazarethyan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Davis has the hooks in. Nazarethyan is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Davis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nazarethyan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Ontario Davis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

I would just about give that final round to Suren Nazarethyan.
