The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipscomb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lipscomb ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Starburst lands a right hook to the body.
Starburst avoids the head kick by Lipscomb.
Starburst digs a good body shot into Lipscomb's ribs.
Lipscomb takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Starburst throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lipscomb tries for a takedown but Starburst sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Lipscomb or perhaps it was just good defense by Starburst which made him look bad.
Zeddicus Starburst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lipscomb is breathing heavily.

Starburst lands a big head kick that sends Lipscomb tumbling to the mat! Starburst takes a step backwards and waves Lipscomb back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Starburst's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lipscomb under the eye.

Starburst ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lipscomb moves away.
Starburst takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oh Lipscomb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lipscomb fails to land with a series of punches.
Starburst finds Lipscomb's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Lipscomb flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Starburst lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lipscomb will be OK.
