Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafael Rua has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 52 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rafael Rua!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to bum rush Lei with a series of wild strikes but Lei uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lei tries to clinch up but Rua circles away and keeps his distance.
Lei throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rua's head.

It looks like Rafael Rua has been cut.
Lei moves out of range of the body kick from Rua.
Rua defending well as Lei loads up on a big left hand.
Rua misses with a kick to the body.
Rua will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lei blocks a jab.
Lei fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rua throws a nice looking combination but Lei bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lei pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lei lands a big head kick that sends Rua tumbling to the mat! Lei takes a step backwards and waves Rua back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lei lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rua circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Rua.
Rua tries to land a front kick but Lei steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lei circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Rua drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lei follows Rua to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
