Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seamus Heaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Heaney fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jane manages to avoid it.

Heaney throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jane sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Heaney darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Heaney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like Seamus Heaney has been cut.
Heaney on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Heaney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jane tries to avoid it but Heaney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jane to the ground. Jane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Patrick Jane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seamus Heaney.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrick Jane will probably get the nod.

Jane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
