Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wang Slanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by take it like a man. Slanger has chosen Dirty Harry as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jenkins.
Jenkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Slanger.
Slanger pushes Jenkins up against the cage in a clinch.
Jenkins misses with a hook from the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Slanger.
A right hand to the body from Slanger.
Jenkins avoiding damage as Slanger throws knees to the body.
Jenkins lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jenkins gets control of Slanger's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jenkins will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Slanger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jenkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slanger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slanger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

It looks like Wang Slanger has been cut.
Slanger sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Slanger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slanger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slanger controls Jenkins momentarily but Jenkins frees himself.
Slanger has his foot on Jenkins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jenkins works his way back into a safe position though.
Jenkins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Jenkins is pushing down on Slanger's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slanger is fighting to maintain full guard but Jenkins has managed to sneak the leg through.

Slanger is rocked!
Jenkins postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Slanger badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jenkins around the waist but Jenkins pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jenkins is the winner by TKO! Jenkins jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Jenkins!
