Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gnome Chomsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zelda Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gnome Chomsky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abbot manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chomsky on his heels. He'll look to pass Chomsky's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Abbot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chomsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Horrible takedown by Chomsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Abbot which made him look bad.

Abbot has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chomsky uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chomsky is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Abbot is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Abbot feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Abbot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
