Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hector Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabrera kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hector. Maldi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Loituma TECHNO! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hector Cabrera has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Maldi.
Maldi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Good shot there by Cabrera.

It looks like Malvin Maldi has been cut.
Maldi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cabrera swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Maldi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cabrera moves away from the strike by Maldi.
Maldi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cabrera.
Maldi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cabrera.
Maldi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cabrera.
Maldi tries to clinch but Cabrera moves out of range.

Cabrera moves into range and clinches up with Maldi.
Cabrera works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Maldi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cabrera is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Maldi.
Cabrera gets to mount! Maldi was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Cabrera! Maldi is hurt baaadly! Cabrera is firing away with more strikes - Maldi is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Hector Cabrera thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
