Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szbrjcik tries to clinch but Saunders is having none of it.
Saunders shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Szbrjcik pinned against the cage. Szbrjcik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spike Saunders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Szbrjcik keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Saunders throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Szbrjcik's waist but Szbrjcik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saunders off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spike Saunders. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Saunders fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Szbrjcik to the ground. Saunders is now in Szbrjcik's guard.

Szbrjcik is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Saunders kicks off Szbrjcik and gets to his feet.
Saunders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Szbrjcik is fending him off so far but Saunders persists. Nope, Szbrjcik circles away and we're back to standing.

Szbrjcik feints and as Saunders raises his hands in defense, Szbrjcik changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saunders utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Szbrjcik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Saunders taking punishment in the form of punches.
Szbrjcik misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Saunders takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Check out the look on Szbrjcik's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Szbrjcik works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Szbrjcik works to advance to full mount. Saunders defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Szbrjcik lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Szbrjcik! Saunders is hurt baaadly! Szbrjcik is firing away with more strikes - Saunders is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
