Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hal Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Dawn of the Dead by Does it Offend you, yeah?. Rose has chosen Another One Bites The Dust as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Rose!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Rose as he connects with a hook.
Rose throws a leg kick
and Jordan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rose thinking.
Jordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rose.
Rose throws a shot from downtown. Jordan moves away and avoids it.
Jordan avoids the body shot from Rose.
Jordan is looking to slow Rose down with leg kicks.
Jordan is looking to clinch but Rose is avoiding it.
Jordan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rose doesn't seem bothered though.

Johnny Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jordan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jordan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circle momentarily. Rose darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Jordan counters with a low kick, right behind Rose 's knee.

Jordan throws a low kick but Rose avoids it.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jordan.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rose lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jordan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jordan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jordan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rose scores with a kick to the midsection.
Rose blocks a low kick nicely.
Rose swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Jordan loads up on a big right hand but Rose slips the punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rose. Jordan does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rose walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jordan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jordan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rose takes a step back to recover.

Rose throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jab, jab by Jordan - just one landing.
Rose moves out of range as Jordan throws a body kick.
Rose gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Jordan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rose.
Rose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jordan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Jordan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rose swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jordan misses with the combination.
Jordan cracks Rose with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rose tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jordan pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rose is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hal Jordan!
As Hal Jordan got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Machida's last win over me was a fluke, Now it's time to show what I'm really made of'.
