Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Albright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danon Detrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albright fails in his attempt to clinch.
Albright wants to clinch up but Detrow keeps it at a distance.
Albright decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Albright is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Detrow trying to control but Albright postures up.
Albright is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Albright tries to stand and escape but Detrow is controlling the position.
Detrow missing with punches from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Albright is tying to control. Detrow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Albright is pressing down on Detrow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Detrow is holding on for now.
Albright is keen to just control but Detrow is a slippery customer.

Albright looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Detrow lands with a kick to the ribs.
Detrow connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Albright scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Detrow trying to hold on to Albright's head to control him but Albright postures up.
Albright is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Detrow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Albright.
Albright is breathing heavily.
Detrow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Albright is working away from the top position though.
Detrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Albright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Detrow tries to roll over but Albright keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Detrow should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Detrow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Albright kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Albright gets a clinch.
Albright tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Detrow smiles and moves away.
Albright misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Detrow fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Albright shoots in but Detrow avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eugene Albright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Detrow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Detrow counters with a nice double leg into side control. Albright won't be happy with that.
Albright is looking for a sweep.
Detrow tries to stand but Albright is controlling his head.
Detrow stands up and beckons Albright to his feet.

Detrow is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Detrow regains half guard.
Albright wants to take a breather but Detrow is having none of it.
Detrow trying to hold on to Albright's head to control him but Albright postures up.
Detrow wants to get back to his feet.
Detrow is looking for a sweep. Albright is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Albright is keen to just control but Detrow is a slippery customer.

Albright doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Detrow counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Albright's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Danon Detrow will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Good leg kick by Detrow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Detrow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Albright shoots and misses
and Detrow counters with a nice body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Detrow.
Eugene Albright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Albright takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Detrow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Albright to the mat! Albright manages to get full guard.
Detrow preventing the sweep.
Albright had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Detrow is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Albright Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Detrow's back instead.
Albright looking for the choke from the back.
Detrow breaks Albright's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Albright not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Danon Detrow has got the better of the ground game so far.
Albright has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Detrow doesn't defend quickly enough and Albright has managed to lock this one up! Can Detrow escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Albright on a fantastic submission victory.
