Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Holden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holden's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Act a Fool. Akiyama is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Akiyama Theme Song (This Is My Life - Edward Maya). Kenji Akiyama has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Holden.
Holden wants to slow Akiyama down by chopping away at his legs.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Akiyama lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Holden has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Holden and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Holden throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Akiyama stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Holden throws a right hand that Akiyama ducks under and follows up with a left that Akiyama also avoids with ease.

The fighters circle momentarily. Holden darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Holden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Akiyama.

Holden shoots in looking for a takedown. Akiyama tries to sprawl out of it but Holden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Akiyama manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judge Holden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holden shoots in for a takedown but Akiyama shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Akiyama has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Holden finds it's way round the side to connect with Akiyama's head.

Holden tries to land a front kick but Akiyama steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Holden connects with a good right hand that stumbles Akiyama. Akiyama circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Holden throws a right and a left that both miss.

Holden feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Akiyamas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Holden pounces like a tiger and cracks Akiyama with a vicious hook! Akiyama is down but not out! Holden follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Judge Holden was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
