Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Hefner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hefner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Puff The Magic Dragon. Hank Cole has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hefner with a hook.
Hefner just misses with a punch to the body.
Cole avoids the body shot from Hefner.
Cole jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hefner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cole swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hefner throws a poor cross that misses
and Cole counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Hefner scores with a takedown into Cole's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cole can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cole is trying to control the position but Hefner postures up.

Hefner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Cole is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hefner tries to free his leg and advance position but Cole is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hefner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hefner trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cole wants to sweep but no luck.

Hefner drops back looking for a leg! Cole is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cole manages to kick Hefner off! Hefner jumps back into Cole's guard.

Hefner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cole works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hefner throws a big elbow that misses.
Cole is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hefner throws a strike but Cole rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hefner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cole manages to get himself to full guard.
Cole is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hefner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hefner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hefner's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Cole avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hefner throws a big right hand that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hefner wants to control from the top but Cole keeps moving.
Hefner postures up in Cole's guard and throws a big left but Cole blocks it.
Hefner wants to pass the guard but Cole is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hefner throws a combination. Cole tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nice defenses there by Hefner.
Hefner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hefner misses with a wild body shot.

Cole takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Cole avoids the body shot from Hefner.
Cole misses with a straight left.
Hefner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Cole cracks Hefner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hefner is looking to wear down Cole with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A punch lands to the side of Cole 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cole tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hefner was well out of range. Poor timing from Cole.

Cole takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Hefner dives in and scores a takedown into Cole's guard.

Hefner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cole defends it well.
Cole is not content to let Hefner control the position.

Hefner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
