The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineda throws an overhand right that lands on Reuf's shoulder, as Reuf tries to avoid the shot.
Pineda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pineda misses with a head kick.
Pineda works the jab nicely.
Pineda feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Reuf's calf.
Pineda moves out of range as Reuf strikes.
Pineda lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Pineda throws a chopping leg kick but Reuf manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pineda misses with an uppercut.
Reuf throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pineda closes the distance and pushes Reuf back into the cage.
Reuf wants to break free but Pineda has control.

Pineda tries to land a knee to the head but Reuf blocks with his arms.
Reuf takes an elbow to the temple.
Pineda misses with a knee to the head.
Reuf dodges an elbow strike from Pineda.
Reuf managing to block the knees to the body from Pineda.
Reuf can't break the clinch.
Reuf is trying to break the clinch but Pineda is controlling him.

Reuf breaks from the clinch.
Pineda tries a head kick but it misses.
Reuf cracks Pineda with a right hand to the side of the head.
Pineda throws a leg kick that is checked
and Reuf counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pineda's knee momentarily.
Sigfredo Pineda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reuf is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pineda.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pineda, right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pineda takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Pineda takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A jab from Reuf finds it's way through Pineda's defenses.
Pineda shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reuf moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A telegraphed right hand from Reuf misses the target.
Reuf blocks a leg kick.
A shot to the liver by Reuf. Beautiful body shot.

Pineda doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Reuf counters with a right hand from hell and Pineda is out cold! A vicious knockout!
