The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragunov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Marciano to score with a decent uppercut.
Marciano looks to land a right hand but Dragunov moved out of range.
Marciano fakes the leg kick and cracks Dragunov in the body.
Marciano throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marciano scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marciano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dragunov is breathing heavily.
Marciano misses with an attempted mid kick.
Marciano throws a push kick but Dragunov slaps the foot to one side.
Dragunov throws a leg kick but Marciano sees it coming and moves out of range.
Marciano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Marciano swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Marciano pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dragunov is out of range and Marciano settles back down.

Dragunov throws a sloppy head kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Marciano thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dragunov if he has to take too many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marciano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dragunov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marciano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dragunov walks into a left hand.
Marciano throws a nice outside leg kick.

Marciano sends Dragunov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Marciano is motioning to the referee to let Dragunov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Dragunov is rocked!
Marciano is stalking Dragunov. Dragunov circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Marciano, and it's lights out! Dragunov really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
