The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shakur.
Shakur avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cedric Myton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shakur scores with a sloppy right hand. Myton should have avoided that one.

It looks like Cedric Myton has been cut.
Shakur moves into range and connects with a jab.
Shakur lands a nice hook to Myton's body. Myton takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Myton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Myton there as he acknowledges the shot.
Myton takes a swing at Shakur's ribcage but misses.
Myton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shakur connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Myton scrambles back to his feet.

Cedric Myton's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Myton is looking to wear down Shakur with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Shakur throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Myton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Shakur can pounce on him.
Myton is breathing heavily.
Shakur tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Shakur scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Myton walks forward, straight into a front kick from Shakur.

Jeez, Cedric Myton's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Shakur throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Myton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Shakur punishes Myton's body with a nice straight punch.
Shakur throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shakur comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Shakur bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Emeka Shakur opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
